Customer: light goes on when i open door

Please provide me with the model number of the unit you are needing help with so that I can give you model specific information, as soon as I get that information I will get your answer prepared as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. While you are getting the model number also do a few things before replying back, first kill power to the dryer at the breaker for a few minutes restore power. Then try to start a cycle, if it does not work and you have it set on the auto dry selection try putting it on a timed dry cycle and see if it will run. Please try those two things and respond back with the model number of the dryer so I can give you model specific information. The model number is ***** on a tag of the dryer door frame just behind the dryer door. Thanks.
