Safe would not open, just got a lot of continued beeping.

Customer Question

safe would not open, just got a lot of continued beeping. Also the control panel does not appear to be active. Batteries were at least 6 years old. Opened safe with key, put in new batteries, nothing changed, have tried several procedures from manual to no avail. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
