Kitchen Aid Ice Maker- How do remove supply line from Intake

Customer Question

Kitchen Aid Ice Maker- How do remove supply line from Intake valve. My 90 degree plastic fitting has split and needs replacement. Looks like it should pull out, but don't want to damage valve.

Good morning. My name is ***** ***** I'll be helping you with your refrigerator today. To disconnect the water line, there is a plastic ring right where the water line goes into the valve. Push the ring in toward the valve and pull out on the water line sort of like a Chinese finger trap in order to release the water line.
