Customer Question

amana French type bottom freezer. I want to remove the back panel in freezer. I removed screws but there is a vent attached at top holding panel in. How do I remove this piece?

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. Sorry to hear you are having appliance trouble, I know how frustrating that can be! My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you!

There is a plastic pressure clip on each side and a smaller one in the middle on the bottom. I use a small screwdriver to slide in and carefully bend them to release from the rear panel.

Go through the holes in that vent cover.
