Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Good afternoon. My name is ***** ***** I'll be assisting you with your washer today. Do you have a model number so I can better assist you? And is this a front load or top load washer? How old? what brand? etc...
OK thank you.
Ok I was just puling up your model number. Does the washer still agitate if you move it back to agitate?
What noise are you referring to exactly?
OK perfect. Well you can't have a clogged drain pump because the same pump that recirculates also drains. The motor just reverses directions. The motor works because it's agitating which means that you're not getting power to the start winding on spin. The timer would need to be replaced up in your control panel to fix this issue.
About $106. Below is a link to the part.

You personally probably wouldn't which is why you're asking a factory trained technic***** *****ke myself.
OK well I think we've covered everything now by this point so I wish you the best and now you know what to replace to fix the issue.
Then something you told me isn't accurate.
A service manual? No, not one on record.
