I have an e63 error on my electrolux electric steam dryer, I pulled the heater and tested it....26.66 ohms on all 3 elements. Wiring all looks good. When issue started it would shut down in less than a second, now after putting it back together shuts down after 15+ seconds with same error
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Frigidaire is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: electrolux perfect steam EWMED6SHTS0 is about 5 years old

Customer: also tested for continuity the high and low limiter, both good

Error code E63 means Heater Open Circuit. This error appears when the Heating element has gone bad. To clear the error so you can start another cycle: Press and hold the far left key under the display and cancel buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds and it should reset. If the error comes back, you'll need to replace the heater.

you are saying that the heater is bad even though I checked it with an ohm meter?

you need to visually inspect it as the elements can be busted but touching the inside housing causing a ground therefore reading good ive seen it many times
