The water dispenser on the front of my GE refrigerator won't shut off completely. ithasa small leak.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your GE is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: 7 years old, model GFSF6KKXABB
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Only if it is relatively easy
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: this refrigerator originally had an ice make in the lower bin and was converted to an icemaker above at the factory.

The water inlet valve on the rear of the refrigerator needs to be replaced the solenoid is failing and allowing the water for the dispenser side of the valve to seep out. It located on the rear bottom of the refrigerator its the valve that your water supply line from you home connects to.
