Thank you! Do you have a meter to test voltage with?

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
Expert:  Kelly replied 12 months ago.

Great! Can you remove the cover from where the cord is attached to the machine? Test between the center terminal to each outer terminal, looking for 120 VAC. Do you read that voltage there with both tests?

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
sorry, not a volt meter, just a tester. red wire beeped, black wire nothing
Expert:  Kelly replied 12 months ago.

That would be your problem, you are missing one side of your breaker. Flip it off and on a few times and see if it comes back to life.

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
really, It wasn't tripped at all
Customer: replied 12 months ago.
ill check
Expert:  Kelly replied 12 months ago.

It may not look tripped but may be internally. Be sure to turn it totally off and back on.

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
I did a few times, still nothing
Expert:  Kelly replied 12 months ago.

Still no beep on the black wire?

Expert:  Kelly replied 12 months ago.

Wiggle the cord in the outlet, any change?

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
ok hang on
Customer: replied 12 months ago.
ok still nothing
Customer: replied 12 months ago.
at the box I have power on the black, on the outlet I have power on black, but when I take off the back plate and test on black, nothing
Expert:  Kelly replied 12 months ago.

So the cord is faulty. Does it look burnt or otherwise damaged?

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
not at all. is that normal?
Expert:  Kelly replied 12 months ago.

No, I suspect there is an issue with either the connection in the outlet or the cord is faulty.

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
ok ill check
Customer: replied 12 months ago.
if not, then what?
Expert:  Kelly replied 12 months ago.

If you are having no power at the cord terminal, it has to be one of those issues. Replace the cord if outlet checks fine, otherwise you may need a new breaker. The tester you have may show voltage when it is low due to a faulty breaker or other issue.
