Customer Question

Have leaking from injector hose opening. Thought was from inlet valve. Replaced inlet valve. Still leaked when replaced. Open washer and saw that the injector unit leaked only when pushed warm water. Cleaned the injector unit, remove and cleaned the plastic valve and rubber insert cover. Installed and tested with all water temp positions. The injector unit over flowed with each temp. Ordered a new injector hose unit. Will the installation of the whole injector hose which includes the injector unit, stop the overflowing in the injector valve?

Hello, this is Dave. Most times cleaning the air gap like you have done fixes the leak. If there is a restriction past the gap towards the top it could be backing up but yes replacing the injector will fix this as long as the hose is totally clear from there to the top. If the hose to the top comes with it you will be good.
