I have a bottom freezer/fridge. If I do not need the freezer

Customer Question

I have a bottom freezer/fridge. If I do not need the freezer anymore can I turn it into a cold drink compartment...or will that mess up the whole fridge?

Hello, this is Dave. What you want to do is not possible. Even if you could get the freezer to run at that temperature the run time would be so short that the temperature of the air coming to the top would be way too high. Normally that air is in the mid to low teens F. The best you can do is set the freezer for the warmest but it may not be higher than 10 or 12 degrees.
