I have a GE refrigerator model TFX20jr. The icemaker is not

Customer Question

I have a GE refrigerator model TFX20jr. The icemaker is not getting water into it. I replaced the water inlet valve & checked the water line. I found a link to check all the individual components of the icemaker. I believe they all checked ok. I'm now wondering if the icemaker is getting power to it. Is there a way to test for power to it?

Just to make sure I have the right model there should be 4 more letters to that model number. Could you please double check the number?

I'm not able to find anything else. There is a sticker on the back that also has the TFX20JR

Ok one moment.

Ok you need to remove the ice bucket and get to the ice maker itself. After to get to it you need to check the lever to see if it is in the out position. If not there is a spring that may have come undone or may be broken. I that is ok then try the following. You and also turn it off and on again. Then push the lever 3 times. This will test the unit and reset it. I am still available if you need more help. If this solves your issue then please give me a 3+ rating to credit my work.
