Hi Ellen. My name is ***** ***** I will be helping you.

Wall Double Oven - problem with top oven

Can I use GOO GONE, If not what do you recommend
Expert:  Sean F. replied 8 months ago.

I use Bar Keepers Friend that is my favorite. Just do not put it in the oven and turn the oven on. It will bake onto the metal of the oven. Just spray and wipe. No GOO GONE

****I am a independent tech that works with Just Answers. If you do not rate me with the 3-5 stars I do not get paid for helping you even though you have been charged.

Thanks Sean

How do I clean the window to the oven - Inside the door of the oven
Expert:  Sean F. replied 8 months ago.

Yews inside the oven.

Easy Off oven cleaner would be the next option

Expert:  Sean F. replied 8 months ago.

yes

Expert:  Sean F. replied 8 months ago.

You can use the same product on the glass. Just don't spray the product in any of the holes of the door. It will get inside the door and you will have to take the door apart to clean the inside of the door.

Sean I cleaned the oven over night and when I opened the oven this morning I found a cooking basket got left in the oven - It had a rubber ring around the edges which were gone - the oven was covered in a thick soot that I can't get off - will the products you recommended work in this instance
Expert:  Sean F. replied 8 months ago.

yes

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Hate to be a pain but the soot is covering EVERYTHING in the oven - heating element, fan etc.
should i put the oven through another cleaning cycle after I use the product?
Expert:  Sean F. replied 8 months ago.

No. It will start baking the soot onto the oven and parts of the oven. Your going to need to hand clean everything.

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
What about AFTER I clean everything - can it go through another clean cycle or should I wait (how long)
Can I respond to this AFTER I clean the oven, in case it doesn't work - without getting charged again?
Expert:  Sean F. replied 8 months ago.

After you clean the oven not sure why you would want to run another clean cycle to clean a clean oven.

If you ask any appliance tech about self cleaning ovens we will tell you never to do so. Reason for that we see so many cases that when folk put there oven in clean, The extreme heat damages the control board thermostat's etc..

Yes, you can respond back even after rating me.

Expert:  Sean F. replied 8 months ago.

Just following up with you to see if you where able to get the oven clean.
