Customer: This morning I went to get something out of the freezer. It was at the proper temp but there was a sizzling noise. Seemed like water dripping on something hot or cold. Something was glowing orange behind the freezer interior panel

Hello and thanks for using this service, if you have been waiting do not worry or get upset I am just one of the techs on here and I try to get to as many customers as I can and I just picked up your question now. Please allow time for me to respond, sometimes I get the questions or responses late so please be patient as I have no control over the site issues. That is just the defrost heater, it comes on every 8-10 hours for about 20-30 minutes to defrost the frost that has built up on the coil. Nothing to worry about at all! Totally normal.
