I have a kitchenaid side by side refrigerator the change filter light came on I changed it in about a week and a half but I noticed the ice machine stopped do you what I need to start making ice again ? the refrigerator is approx 2 years old.

Have you checked the fill tube going to the icemaker to see if it is blocked? Or is there water in the mold?

last time the filter needed change I just turned it off it reset then started working

You can turn it off and back on or unplug the unit for 30 secs to reset it and plug it back in and see if it works. Most times it does, let me know if not.

OK then try to turn the power off to the unit via the circuit breaker for 30-60 secs and see if you have tomorrow. Let me know I am here everyday
