Customer Question

Hi John, I have a Miele dishwasher, model number G 843 SCVI PLUS. It won't start, and there are no lights on the panel. Pressing the "on" button doesn't light anything up. I tested the socket, and it is definitely "hot." The last cycle didn't quite complete; I can see water sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: That's a pretty complete description....
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Appliance Technicians generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

Can you check power to the junction box where the power cord connects to the unit?

As I said in my original post, the socket is definitely "hot," based on plugging something else into it.
