One of the burner switches shorted out and tripped the

one of the burner switches shorted out and tripped the circuit breaker however after disconnecting both legs from defective switch the circuit breaker stays on but the remaining 3 burners don't heat up. I have 220 volts on all 3 remaining switches. all the burners heated up before the circuit breaker tripped.
