We are looking at a "Through-the-Outside-Wall" Breezaire

Customer Question

We are looking at a "Through-the-Outside-Wall" Breezaire Model # ***** 8000 for use in VA, where the outdoor temperatures in winter can be below freezing for many days in a row. Will this Breezaire work in such conditions? If not, then what model should we get for venting inside the house? (We can easily run a drainage tube from the unit inside the wine cellar to a sump pump outside that wall, on the same level.)
Thank you--Linda

Mitsubishi Model MUZ-FH09NA outdoor unit and Model MSZ-FH09NA is what you should look at. Perform at 100 % at 0 degrees outside temp and 75% at 13 below outside temperature. You don't need a sump pump . The indoor unit only produces condensate in the summer , so it drains outside through the same hole as the wiring and refrigerant piping to the outside unit.

We are replacing the breezaire that just broke and that's why we want to use the same exact unit. Will it work?

Did this unit work satisfactorily in cold weather before it failed ? If it did , then the new one will too.
