dryer doors do NOT have any type of lock on then the door is held closed by a friction latch assembly but it has no locking device at all!

i do think this site is a real rip off - use muscle what a bunch of crap - are there no sensors etc - all the other info i have looked at for other dryers tell me to push some kind of end of cycle button but i don't have one on this old model
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
thanks - you're no help - good bye
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

look again the end of cycle signal button is to unlock the electronic control panel NOT the door

Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

There are no sensors for the door lock, especially on a 22 year old machine! You need to use muscle crap to get the door open, like it or not. The door latch may be broken and not releasing or some other issue but there is no magic button to push or words to chant to open the door. If you can't get it open, you may have to have someone with more muscle crap help.
