Customer Question

Model EW30EF65GSH stayed locked after self cleaning. Getting horizontal blue bar lights where burner controls are. When I touch near burner controls get typical beep. Unplugged for > 1 hour and cold. Still did not clear. Took off back and manually opened door by removing motor that controls latch rod. Still no change.

Checked the RTD and ohms are correct at 1076 ohms. Which is correct for temp. Checked oven closing motor and it has continuity.

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! I suspect the heat from the self clean has damaged the electronics. The -- you see in the display is not a valid error code so the control is having some kind of problem. I would turn the breaker off for 8 hours to allow a full reset and if it does not come back on, replace the Surface Unit Control.
