Microwave/convection oven model MCES/01: Christmas eve

Customer Question

microwave/convection oven model MCES/01:
Christmas eve microwave heated; melted butter. By Christmas day morning, microwave was no longer heating at all.
Is this most likely the magnetron? If so, who do I get to order and replace/repair my microwave part/s?

Hello, very common issue on these units. Yes, the mag has most likely failed. If you're extremely handy, you can make this repair. Remember a microwave can hold lethal voltage even unplugged.

You can purchase the part from the link below.
