Both of the lights in my GE Profile hood went out at exactly

Customer Question

Both of the lights in my GE Profile hood went out at exactly the same time. The filaments in both light bulbs appear to still be in tact. I'm dubious that it's a lightbulb issue. Any tips on what could be wrong and/or how to fix it and get the lights to work again?

It is a GE Profile Hood, stainless steel, but I'm not sure what the model number is. It has two lights that read Max 20 W TYPE T3 (EV00640). Does that help?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It is 30 1/2" wide.

Your pictures are so blown out you can not make any thing out! the last one was the only reasonably clear one .

And if you remove the filters you should be able to find the model and serial tag up inside the hood.

And no the type of light bulb it uses does not help !

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Okay. The filters are pretty gross. Do you know if I can wash them?

The labels inside the vents.

yes the filters can and should be washed periodically .

The best way to clean them is to soak them in hot water with some type of de greaser.

With all of the lights going out at once I would have to assume that the transformer for the lights has failed .

The link below is to the part you will need from a highly recommended company rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau.
