My maytag dryer is model 5000 series with steam. The drier

my maytag dryer is model 5000 series with steam. The drier will not run, keeps telling me " check lint screen". I have disconnected the exhaust vent and cleaned the lint screen and it still says check lint screen. Is there a reset button or fuse that may be preventing it from running?

ok good info that tells me that the door switch is good and that the control board should be good .

do you have a Volt-Ohm meter to be able to do any component or voltage testing within the unit?
