Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! I suspect the control is getting a message that the oven is too hot or the cooling fan is not running. Is the temperature accurate when set at 400* or below? Can you hear the cooling fan running?
What happens on the display when it shuts off, does it go totally dark? How do you get it back working again?
Will it program for a higher temperature?
Oh, that's okay. If you program it for 450*, does it program for that but shut off as it heats up or will it even program?
Is the door sealing well at the top?
Okay, so here is what we know. The sensor is accurate, the door is sealing well, the unit will start right back up again after shutting off, so no thermal reaction is happening. The cooling fan is running. I believe the electronic oven control will need to be replaced.
The control will run about $250-300. Any servicer will be able to replace it. However, a certified Wolf servicer may be a bit more familiar with the product.
You will need to call a Wolf dealer, there are a couple different ones, depending on the serial number. One dealer is below.
