I purchased a Samsung RF28HMEDBSR in 2013 and about 8 months ago the freezer stopped working. I have had it serviced a few times and was assured the last time it will work (Tech replaced the white board behind freezer draw housing two fans) and no go. Any suggestions?

Frig. Is fine. Freezer is not.

Can you hear a fan running in the freezer section? Can you see any frost on the back wall inside the freezer?

Hard to tell if fan(s) running but new panel that houses the 2 fans was replaced by tech (said this would work) a few months ago and it still didn't freeze. No frost anywhere inside freezer draw.

Also, I read up on doing some life of reset (hold two top left buttons for 8 seconds) and 'OF' appeared on both read outs. I pressed again after a few minutes and it went back to displaying temps. I did this again when checking for frost and this time the freezer display kept blinking '0'.

Self-diagnosis buttons not responding all that comes up is '88'

It sounds like the main electronic control board will need to be replaced then.
