If nothing lights up on the unit can you check the power a the junction box with a volt meter?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The junction box on the appliance?
Expert:  Appliance Guru replied 1 year ago.

Yes on the unit itself, you may have a burned up or bad wire there.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There does not seem to be power there. Are you suggesting there is a broken or burnt out wire in the supply cable?
Expert:  Appliance Guru replied 1 year ago.

Yes or maybe a wall switch that is off on the kitchen wall or under the sink

There is no switch, it is hard-wired
Expert:  Appliance Guru replied 1 year ago.

Well if you have no power there then it would be between the circuit breaker and there or at the circuit breaker itself in the panel. So that is the issue, but you have to find the bad wire.
