I turned off the self clean mode before it was done. A day

Customer Question

I turned off the self clean mode before it was done. A day later, I still get a 'hot' message. I tried to flip the circuit breaker a couple times, but it didn't work.

hi, try putting it back into self clean ,let it start up and run for a minute or so then press cancel to shut the self clean off ..if that doesnt work leave the breaker off for 5 minutes , not sure how long you left it the first few times? but give it minutes to fully reset

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Thanks Randy. Where is the cancel button? Or do I just turn it off?
Expert:  Randy 43 replied 1 year ago.

yes just try turning it off after ,a few minutes

Hi Randy. I tried both these things and still get the hot message.

did it start in the selfclean again ?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it did
Expert:  Randy 43 replied 1 year ago.

let it go for 5-10 min ,then shut it off ,and wait 30 min or so and see if the message shuts off

Ok I will

This time after a couple minutes it switched to err 01
Expert:  Randy 43 replied 1 year ago.

that is a latching error ,the door latch isnt sensing or possibly didnt sense i the time reqd , you can reset the breaker for a minute and try again ,see if error comes back

Any other suggestions?
Expert:  Randy 43 replied 1 year ago.

if it goes into selfclen and starts and heats and unlocks ,then all that is ok , if you still get the error code and the message then there is a problem with a component and that 01 error points to a bad latch assembly
