Customer Question

We have a new LG range LDG3035ST. It has been converted from nat to lp. When two of the surface burners are turned on, the pressure seems too strong and for a brief time only ca. half of the burner lights while the sparking continues. This happens when the burner is cold.

As long as the right size orifices were installed then there is no other adjustment that can be made. You will need to throttle back on how high you set the knob to get a steady flame as any appliance that is converted to LP gas will not work the same as for the natural gas it was designed to be used on. This is because the LP gas has a different weight and heat than natural, so a conversion kit attempts to make the LP mimic the natural and it is not a 100% match.
