GE PT956 Dbl Oven. Just out of warranty and top oven shuts

Customer Question

GE PT956 Dbl Oven. Just out of warranty and top oven shuts off at 250-300 degrees. Repair came out and told me it needed a new fan so I replaced it. Still happened so I replaced temp sensor, control panel, slave board and still having issue. Any ideas?

Does a failure code show when this happens?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not always or immediately. But sometimes F2.

Make sure that you measure the same resistance of BOTH of the temp sensors at the board end connection to make sure there is not a wiring issue. A poor connection or short will cause all sorts of problems.
