Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 35 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 80,000 internet repairs under my belt.

Will it agitate after it fills?

And if you open and close the lid can you hear an audible click sound as if is almost closed?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It will agitate after it fills, and there is an audible click when you open and close the lid.

Ok when it is not draining or spinning can you hear the motor run or is the washer silent at that time?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the motor is silent at that time
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

Ok and your 100% sure that you hear that click as the lid is almost closed?

Because it sounds like a lid switch issue.

that is about the only thing that will let the motor work for agitation ,but not for drain and spin.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Is it possible to repair the switch? What do I do now? Do I need a repairman?
