Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 35 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 80,000 internet repairs under my belt.

Has it given you any error codes?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'm a mechanic and know how to check error codes on trucks but washers are out of my league. How?
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

1. Be sure the washer is in standby mode (plugged in with all indicators off) or in setting mode (plugged in and power up just before running a cycle).

2. Select any one button (except POWER/CANCEL and START/PAUSE) and follow the steps below, using the same button:

a. Press/hold 3 seconds.

b. Release for 3 seconds.

c. Press/hold 3 seconds.

d. Release for 3 seconds.

e. Press/hold 3 seconds.

➔ If this test mode has been entered successfully, all indicators on the console are illuminated for 5 seconds with 8:88 showing in the Estimated Time Remaining three-digit display.

➔ If indicators do not display as described above, the press/hold/release procedure above may not have been performed within the time frame necessary for successful entry.

Repeat step 2 to ensure this was not the cause. If still unsuccessful, see Diagnostic: Unsuccessful Entry, at right.

3. The test sequence continues by checking for saved fault codes:

➔ If there are saved fault codes, let me know what code or codes you get.

also if you open the console the tech sheet should be inside the console area.

Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

Could it be F82 there is only one H error codes and that is HC hot and cold reversed.

The F82 code is a lid lock error.

no, double checked and shows H82 and machine has been working up till now since 2011
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Unplugged for over 5 minutes and showing F32 as code
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

F32 is a long drain!

Does it seem to drain all the water out of the washer.

and what type of detergent is being used in the washer?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Been the same since 2011 as for as the drain. Detergent is Tide. Maybe drain is starting to clog. Is there a way to clear fault codes? will check drain in the mean time
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

Is the detergent HE type detergent?

Have you ever used a store bought washer cleaner on the washer?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no two both questions
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

With this unit you have to use the HE type detergent as per the manufacturer .

And if not the unit has accumulated excessive detergent over the years .

I recommend to use the washer cleaner AFFRESH.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
have been using he and now showing h70 and 81
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

Make sure that you are only using 2-3 tablespoons of detergent.

The long drain is not the length of the drain line it is the length of time it took for the washer to drain .

If you have a detergent build up you can and will get the long drain .because of the amount of detergent that has built up inside the washer and the amount used ,those two things creates suds ,and if you have too many suds you will get the long drain F32 and The F70 which means overloaded, but that is sensed not by vibration but by the amount of current the motor uses to run the washer.

The too many suds create brake effect when the tub is trying to spin and the washer thinks it is over loaded .

And F81 is saying that you used the washer it finished ,you started another cycle ,and the control board did not sense the lid was opened and closed ,in between those two cycles.
