anytime you have ice build up around the door seals and crystals forming in the freezer you have a moisture problem which means somewhere along the seal on the freezer door it is not sealing properly against the frame of the freezer opening. also the door could be sagging causing the seal not to seal properly. Have a look where the ice is built up the most then look at the corresponding area around the seal check for tears or any other thing that might let air in through the seal. If the seal is just kinda hard and not forming to the surface properly you can take a hair dryer and run the heat along the seal in that area and it may let the seal suck up to the facing. Hope this helps.
