does the washer fill with water and drain the water?

Most likely if the washer is filling and you have replaced the lid lock, there are two possibilities

1. the drain pump is running but not draining fast enough due to a bad impeller inside the pump motor.

2. The mode shifter/actuator is bad Part #: W10006355. This shifts the transmission from wash to spin and vice versa if this has failed the washer will not spin or wash in most cases, unless its stuck in one mode or the other in which case the washer will fail during cycle. This part is located under bottom of the washer you will need to remove the plastic belt cover in order to locate it, it will be brown with 2 green phillips screws attaching it to the washer and there will be a wire harness plugged into it.
