I have a admiral washer model atw4676bq1. It wouldn't stop filling a couple of days ago couldn't get it to stop si I unplugged it and the water was still running so I shut the water off. My wife tried to get a tech out but due to living Ina rural area was not Abel to. This morning I cleaned the inlet water screens out turned th water on and tried to start the machine. The water ran for about three seconds and then shut off. Nothing on hot or cold

Hello, what happened was the water valve stuck open mechanically and that is why unplugging it didn't help. You need to replace the water valve W10683680. It is item number 15 on the partlist link.
