Customer Question

Hi. My dryer is randomly heating sometimes and sometimes not. It starts heating but then doesn't. I replaced the gas solenoids and it seemed to work for a while but not anymore. I have checked continuity on all the sensors with two of them having two terminals that show conductivity but not the other two

Hello, can you see the ignitor glow on it and then fail to heat?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I cannot see it. But I can hear the flame turn on and the dryer starts heating well, the exhaust is strong and hot but after some time it cools down. I can shut it off, wait and turn it back on and it may or may not start hot again. I checked all the temp sensirs and they open only at the rated temp exept for one which is rated 300-40F and it opens at 260.

OK can you remove the top of the unit?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The dryer is completely open. I had to in order to gain access to the thermostats.

OK can you put it back together with just the top off so you can run it?
