Hi, that would mean it's coming from the defrost drain line or drain pan. Inside the freezer is a small drain line. Every 8 hours the unit goes into defrost and melts the frost off the evaporator for 30 minutes or so. The water which amounts to about 2 ounces or so goes down the drain line below the evaporator and to the pan on the bottom of the unit. Sometimes the small hose that takes the water from the bottom of the cabinet to the pan leaks and sometimes the plastic drain pan will crack for whatever reason. It has to do with the defrost cycle if the water is shut off.. We work on the honor system here at Just Answers. Were not credited for our work until you rate our answers positively.
