Customer Question

My Amana TS122TW refrigerator with top freezer has been dripping into the lower compartment. I suspect a clogged/frozen drain line. How do I remove the freezer panels so as to access the parts? I have removed the ice maker and all screws. I am reluctant to just pry the panels off since they are probably no longer available if I damage one.

On your model the evaporator coil and drain line hole is behind the rear interior wall it is held in place by like 6 screws then the coil and drain is behind the rear interior panel .

I know where the coil and drain are. My question was how do I remove the panel after the screws have been taken out? I have removed the ice maker and all the screws including those for the light assembly. However, the panel doesn't come out. It appears to be held in place by the light assembly escutcheon or...
Whats the trick to removing it without breaking something?

ok you did not say for sure .

The panel after the screws are out just pulls out you may have to get a screw driver behind it to move it.

Don't bother to call. I figured out how to take it apart myself. The drain is not accessible when the rear panel is removed. Looks like I will have to access the drain from inside the lower compartment.
