Customer Question

I have a Kenmore Elite dryer (model 11062952-001).
The dryer will not run unless I hold the START button on, and I do not think any heat is coming out.
I have replaced the START button, the thermostat (339021) and the thermo fuse.
What should I try next?

If you have a meter, can you test the resistance of the heater please?

Thanks

Rob

Thanks for responding Rob,I have a meter, but I will not be able to check the resistance until later. Where will I go in the dryer to check the resistance?Don

I again Rob,
I rechecked the model number (11062952100). This is the same number, but without a dash after the 52.The heating unit is tubular shaped and is located in the bottom right of the dryer, with the unit running front to back. I've had this unit out in order to replace the thermostat (#3390291) and the thermal fuse (#3390719).Don
