My GE Ice maker won't fill up with water. The water is still

Customer Question

My GE Ice maker won't fill up with water. The water is still hooked up because it still comes out the door. Is there something I can do to manually switch it back on? By the way, the ice maker arm is down.

The icemaker fills when it cycles, so if it is not then it won't fill. To see if the icemaker cycles just fill the mold and see if any ice drops after a few hours. If it does not then replace the icemaker as it has failed. There is no reset here and nothing to do to turn it on either unless it has an on/off switch on it and you would be well aware of that.

If it does drop then post back for further info.
