Hello, Most likely the unit is not defrosting. You would need to defrost the unit, remove the rear panel inside the freezer and make sure you get it all defrosted. AFter that you should check the heater that is under the evaporator for continuity as that is the most common issue on older side by side GE models to cause that problem.
