Customer Question

I have an Electolux Icon Induction 30" cooktop which "appears" to be locked out. However, when I do the steps to unlock it (hold the lock key pad for 5 seconds and a beep will sound)...nothing! Checking with electircal testers, there's power to the cooktop.
What next? The breakers are all okay and this worked PERFECTLY the other day. :(

Have you tried to shut the power off to the unit for 1 full minute to see if it clears the issue?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Still nothing!
Expert:  Appliance Guru replied 1 year ago.

DO you have the complete model number off the unit?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The model # ***** *****
Serial # *****
After having absolutely NO function from this cooktop, in the middle of the night it started beeping...like a microwave would when finishing its cook cycle. It displayed an error message of EO 39 and the power displays said 8.8.

OK try this

To resolve this error, Press and hold WARM key, then press

Right Front zone ON key until beep (keep holding WARM)

release Right Front zone ON key and press Left Front zone ON

key until beep & config starts. Replace the filter circuit board in the 3 zones induction module if problem continues.

Didn't work.

OK then you need to replace that filter circuit board to fix the issue. They fail often on that model and it is a job to install it as the whole top has to come apart.
