Plug back in light still on
Expert:  Appliance Tech Dave replied 1 year ago.

When you plug it back in it is likely the lock will still be on and if so hold the end of cycle button for 3 seconds.

I see the last person has opted out of your question!

My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.

Ok just to be clear you are pressing and holding in the cycle signal button for 3-5 seconds correct? and not just holding it to the count of three.

No
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
holding down for full 3 seconds I left it unpluged all day just plugged in and did not work
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 1 year ago.

Ok Can you check once again your model number ?

I do not find a GEW9250FW0 I do find a GEW9250PW0 ,and if GEW9250PW0 is correct unplugging the unit and holding the cycle signal button does not unlock the control lock .

I have to recommend that the main control board be replaced.

(it is mounted under the top panel (two screws from the rear hold it on) and the control is mounted on the left side rail)

The link below is to the part you will need from a highly recommended company rated A+ with the Better Business Bureau.
They offer a 100% money back guarantee, EVEN ON INSTALLED ELECTRICAL PARTS, for an entire year!
They are the only company to allow returns on installed parts for a refund and offer a FULL ONE YEAR WARRANTY!

I see they even have a cash back if you send in your old part rather then just throwing it away.
If you have any questions just reply back.
