Fan in back of freezer making clacking noise and refrigerator is not cold.

Hi, have you removed the back panel inside the freezer yet? How do you know ice is not behind the back panel inside? If ice is not around fan, then the fan is bad. Only two options for this complaint. You either have a faulty evaporator fan motor or a defrost issue.
