We have a caravan back emoting toilet. The orange toilet flap does not go up automatically when I replace the emptied cassette, is there a spring or mechanism that is broken.

Yes it is 48 that will not open when you put the cassette back

You will need to dismantle this as per the diagram I sent already. (Not a pleasant job, sorry)
Im suspecting that the lever behind is jammed
You may prefer to take the cassette to a Dometic agent !!!
