Yes you can do but not the best way to do it.
But if you do transport it laying down when you get it to the location its staying you need to leave it to stand for at least 6 hours. As when you lie it down the oil and the gas is all mixed up. So leaving it to settle for 6 hours before pluging it in will sort it from there.
Just dont plug in and turn on once you stand it up as this can block the system up.
