Hi, and welcome to JustAnswer.remove the screws along the back of the top cover and slide the cover to the rear to remove it. Smell at the back of the control panel and see if it is the source of the burning. If it is the smell will be pretty strong. if not then the motor will be the source.Let me know what you find and we can go from there.Best, Smitty
