Take the cover loose on the inside and let me know how much of that coil behind it is cold or possibly even frosted.

See if the compressor is running
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I looked at the coils from the back of the refrig. and they are warm. I just unplugged the ref. Is the compressor the round black unit? It is warm/hot. Fan was not spinning
Expert:  MRANSWER replied 1 year ago.
Yes, the round black thing. The compressor should be running whenever the fan is. If the fan is bad the compresssor will overheat and not run. Plug this back in after an hour to let the compressor cool down. IF the compressor runs and the fan does not then replace that fan motor.

compressor does not seem to be running. Is the compressor that is replaceable to home owner?
Expert:  MRANSWER replied 1 year ago.
No. If the compressor is bad then this is not worth fixing as it is too expensive.

Compressor is $155.00
Expert:  MRANSWER replied 1 year ago.
Yes, but someone is going to charge you about $300 to put it in plus mark-up on it. Also, you are assuming the compressor is bad without any definite diagnosis. You need to see if the compressor is getting power or not to know for certain.

Compressor is getting power. Is the compressor user replaceable?
Expert:  MRANSWER replied 1 year ago.
I already said no. It is not a diy project.
