I turn on my LP gas stove burners and set to low, the flame

Customer Question

I turn on my LP gas stove burners and set to low, the flame blows out but the igniter doesn't come on to relight the burner allowing gas to continue flowing. Shouldn't the igniter automatically come on if the flame goes out?

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! Some higher end models have the Flame Rectification System with burner re-ignition, yes. There are a lot of models that do not. May I please have your model number so I am able to provide you with accurate, model specific information?
