Where is model number? I have sm8280869 from inside lid. Whirlpool.
Expert:  MRANSWER replied 1 year ago.
On the lid opening, not the lid.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Model # ***** Serial # *****(###) ###-#### ***** tested the lid switch and there is continuity.
Expert:  MRANSWER replied 1 year ago.
Does the washer spin?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, it agitates in the rinse cycle but as it moves toward the spin cycle it stops. It won't spin or drain. I replaced the lid switch with a new one.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It does not make any difference which type of wash you are in, it does the same.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
As I move the control dial, I can get it to agitate at the points in the wash and rinse cycles but when it gets to a point where it should drain the water it goes dead. It is like the electronics aren't working at that point.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I finally got it to work. It was the lid switch.

this service is way too slow. You better figure a way to make it faster. If I have a major appliance that is having issues this service just won't work.
