The lower freezer is making a barking noise..there was frozen ice (now defrosted) in the upper compartment causing the lower part on the left side to come down (filled with ice)..

The noise is from the evaporator fan, probably hitting on something (ice) as it runs. Can you remove the rear wall from the freezer and see if it is filled with ice? If not, open the doors for 24 hours and turn the unit off to allow a full thaw. Does the noise still present when restarted?
