I have a mvwc6esww0 maytag washer and it starts to fill with a little water, you close the lid and it continues to fill and then it flips the breaker. Sometimes it will start agitating for a few seconds and then it flips the breaker. Any thoughts?

The first thing you should check is the motor itself and the wiring
It sounds like its shorting out as the motor should start
